Here are few of my favorite finds inspired by the upcoming long weekend. Safe travels everyone and happy Memorial Day!
Each year, I watch for that last patch of snow to melt on my garden so I can start working the soil and planting my seeds. Jillian and I both live on the east coast, but being further down the coast - warmer temps visit her before they do me. She can happily play in the dirt while I still tend to my indoor plants and dream of getting my fingernails dirty. Do you live in an area where you don't have space for a garden outside? Not to worry - Today, Jillian highlight's a variety of ways to invite some spring green both inside and out! Even if you're not able to till the soil and rotate your crops, you can still enjoy the beauty of spring gardens in your home!

This is a little reminder that Mother's Day is just three weeks away. That gives you plenty of time to find something special for Mom. I always enjoy picking out a fun + handmade card. There are a lot to choose from on Etsy, but I narrowed it down to a few of my very favorites. Have you picked out your gift for Mom yet? No worries, we will be featuring some gift ideas in the coming days. Think HANDMADE when shopping for MOM.
As I write this the birds are chirping outside my window. They wake me up around 6 every morning and even before sunrise. That's what I love about the first weeks of Spring. Along with the birds, comes the all the new growth in the garden. Everything is starting to sprout out of the ground and soon all the plants will be in BLOOM. It's the amazing and wonderful part of nature that never gets old. In the sprit of the season the four of us ( Amber, Cinne, Jillian and Nanako) gathered up our favorite Etsy finds for our current trend page IN BLOOM. It's a fanciful mix of flowers, plants, and everything that feels like Spring.
What's your favorite part of the Spring season?
Growing up, I remember the joy and excitement that would stir in my chest when it came time for the annual Easter egg hunt - maybe you share similar memories. I'm not sure where the correlation between eggs and rabbits comes into play, but bunnies always make an appearance during Easter - I recall getting foil wrapped bunnies in my Easter basket. I have a special place in my heart for bunnies, as it's my Chinese zodiac sign and so I grew up always having something bunny related around me. Whether you're chomping on a chocolate bunny ear or dressing up like a bunny, rabbits are adorable anytime of year! Here are 6 ways to fall in love with bunnies everyday of the year!
Does it get cold where you live during the winter months? I know Amber and Cinne like to casually mention things like, "Oh, I was working in the garden today and it was so HOT!". Meanwhile, I am digging out from under 12 inches of snow in the freezing cold! Snow pants are my best friend in the winter time, but when I'm getting ready for a night out - as warm as they are, those gore-tex swishy pants just won't do! My focus is always on staying warm - but staying warm can be done IN STYLE! For those of us who live in the northern climate zones, I've put together a FAB outfit for a night out in the cold. Hat, mittens, scarf, wool coat, awesome boots, and yes - it's a short skirt, but of course you'd have some nice thick tights on! Be fashionable AND warm this winter.
