The best part of Summer are bright sunny days. The worst part of Summer can be the bright sunny days.  In Texas you learn to have a love/hate relationship with the Summer.  It sounds good, but the reality is that it can be HOT. So hot that you learn to adapt to not going outside. That is especially true in August or if you are lucky enough you just go on vacation to a cooler climate.  The upside to all the heat is that you can actually wear flip flops in January ( sometimes).  To celebrate those upcoming hot summer days I picked out some items to help you keep cool and look cool, too.

Spring is a mix of weather and styles.  Some days it's cold and rainy and others it's hot and sunny. Just when you think Summer's around the corner a cold Spring morning will remind you it's not over yet. That's why I chose this week's Stylist collections from Brooke of Reseed. They both represented the duality of Spring weather and styles. One is romantic and cozy and the other is bold and bright. Which side of Spring do you prefer?

When I tell people that I have a shop on Etsy I often get this response, "Oh, I LOVE Etsy - but it's SO hard to find things!"  This one statement was actually a core catalyst to why Amber and I started Elite16 - we wanted to help people who LOVE handmade connect with items to fall in love with!  To help achieve this goal, we've partnered up with a group of Stylists who know how to navigate this crowded community of Etsy to find quality shops.  Why?  Because they're all Etsy shop owners who love to shop handmade!

Today, we're showcasing the work of Guest Stylist Dana of APPLE WHITE.  Dana's shop features handmade creations which stem from her passion for sewing - I love that she started sewing at the wee age of 5!  Her precise eye for detail is evident in her collection titled FRESH SPRING where she creates a welcoming mood with her spring selections.  I feel enveloped in the beauty of springtime greens with hints of summer to come.  See our entire list of Elite16 Spring Collections to help you get inspired and ready to celebrate SPRING!

I'm getting pretty tired of single digit weather and my heart is solidly aimed upon the arrival of spring.  I would venture to say that it's my most favorite season of all - every year, I can always smell the beauty of the Earth coming out of hibernation and my spirits are lifted.  Our theme this month is IN LOVE and I am super in love with anything botanical that gets my mind fired up for spring!  Our team of ETSY STYLISTS have been curating amazing gift guides exploring this very theme - making navigating Etsy easy and FUN!  Our guest stylist today is Leslie of CHOISETTE and she brings forth some happy floral beauty from her LA studio in this gorgeous SPRING COLLECTION!  I instantly fell in love with her modern styling and her fun title The Flower of Persuasion!  Leslie, send some of that warm CA weather out this way - the Northeast could sure use it!

Each week we are choosing our favorite collections from our stylists to share with you.  This month's theme is "In Love" and when I stumbled on Aki's collections I knew I wanted to share one of them, but I couldn't decide which one so I chose two!  Happy really caught my eye with it's bright yellow and pink and Anticipation is so romantic with hints of rose gold and florals.  A big thanks to Aki for making such eye catching collections.
