I recently made a silver ring using what's called lost wax casting - a method where you carve your design into wax.  It's a lot of fun with endless possibilities, which was a bit intimidating as I was getting started with my design...or rather "no design"!  I wasn't sure what I was making, but as I started to file down the wax I noticed a beautiful geometric pattern begin to take shape and so I went with it.  Working the wax became like a meditation and I started to fall in love with all the faceted edges I had created.  I've since become smitten with the idea of these lovely facets and so I put together 4 handmade beauties that reflect this love of geometric planes and shapes!
