I've recently been researching different ways to cook with herbs and spices as a way to move away from using so much salt.  I love to cook and I admit that sometimes I get lazy with my seasoning repertoire and rely on my go-to flavors - garlic, soy sauce, ginger, thyme, salt and pepper.  Pretty boring, right?  My spice cabinet is filled with other goodies, but I never think to use them.   Some spices are in a drawer and others in a cabinet - I wonder if I had them displayed before me if I'd venture to grab for more unique flavor combinations.  Designing a spice rack is a fun process where you get to consider not only the display, but the containers to hold them - the result being both a visual and functional treat!  I'm ready to get my spices in working order, put my apron on and whip out some awesome creations in the kitchen - join me with my handpicked selections to help you get organized and inspired!
