As someone that works from home, it's extremely important to keep my workspace tidy. I do not like clutter and I also don't like my work taking over the rest of my home. It's hard when you only have a 10x10 space, but it's not impossible. The key is having a space for everything. Sounds easy? The key is space planning and understanding what you want to be able to see and access easily and what can be hidden away.
A desk with lots of drawers is a good start. I also love various size storage bins so you don't have to keep everything perfect, just as long as it's not taking over you desktop or work surface. I always have a container for pens because they always seems to disappear and a notebook by my computer. I love jotting down ideas or designs and also keeping track of orders I'm working on through my notes. If my space is not cluttered I feel like I work more productively.
